Questions and answers
A nasopharyngeal or oral swab for PCR COVID testing, at home, in the office, in the hotel or in the car.
To spare you time while travelling and to avoir contact with other sick people.
For a person with symptoms.
For a person who was in contact with a positive person.
For a trip, work, competition, etc...
How to do?
You just have to fill in your information on the form then send your complete address / location on Whatsapp to get an answer: Availability, time frame and price.
What is the price?
Will depend on your address, number of people to test, time of intervention and requested time of the results.
We can return the results in an hour or in 24 according to your need.
How to receive my result?
On Whatsapp / mail: the document will be validated, signed, stamped with barcode / qr code.
Should I print the result?
No you can just show it on your phone screen.
If you are worried that your phone will turn off you can print the document as it is already stamped and signed.
Test valid for travelers?
Yes, we only work with approved and authorized laboratories.
What is a PCR?
Polymerase Chain Reaction
Technique used to detect RNA: ribonucleic acid: genetic fingerprint of the COVID 19 virus .
CT CYCLE THRESHOLD in English Or threshold cycle in French ? MEANS WHAT?
Simply put, how much magnification was needed to detect traces of virus.
Automatically we understand the larger this figure, the less virus we have.
The Ct is inversely representative of the viral load.
During PCR specific segments of virus RNA are amplified through a series of temperature changes that can be repeated up to 45 times
These series are called amplification cycles.
The amount of genetic material in the sample doubles after each cycle.
The value of CYCLE THRESHOLD or value Ct CYCLE THRESHOLD is the number of amplification cycles required to generate enough copies of viral RNA for that can be detected.
Low positive result?
A PCR test result is said to be weakly positive when a large number of cycles of PCR = Ct were required to successfully detect viral RNA
a high Ct raises fears of a clinical false positive, that is to say that it corresponds to the detection of RNA residues from an old infection.
WHAT TO DO?
If the Ct value is less than or equal to 33 = viral load is high
=> an isolation of 7 days is to be respected from the date of the sample.
If the Ct value is greater than 33 = viral load is low
=> a second PCR test is recommended 48 hours later to determine the phase of the viral kinetics.
If second result with a Ct greater than 33, isolation is lifted.
